We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant (Applications & Engineering) who is curious, driven and dedicated (hustlers preferred!) to join our fast growing young team!

Senior Technical Consultant (Applications & Engineering) is a crucial client-facing role that creates clear and actionable strategic roadmaps supporting business cases that both delineate a broader end-game, while also prioritizing quick wins with near-term measurable impact. The Senior Technical Consultant will collaborate with the sales team by acting as technical experts in site visits and customer success. They determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as liaison between the Auk and client’s engineering/technical team.

The responsibilities include:

• Using a deep knowledge of our solution, provide technical scoping support to sales representatives, and substantiate the solutions offered to prospects.
• Assist sales team members with sales activities including development of clients URS (User Requirement Specification), proposals, and pitch mechanics.
• Own and drive PoC (Proof-of-concept) projects with prospects to ensure their success and the prospects are effectively learning and engaging with the platform.
• Ensure customer success: guide, advise and train clients to use our solution effectively with the end objective of scaling up.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Auk Industries system for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Technical background (a degree in Engineering or experience that is equivalent).
• 3-5 years technical pre-sales experience for IT or OT systems in manufacturing sector.
• Have a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, 6 sigma, TOC, etc)
• Ability to interpret technical documents (machine and instruments data sheets, electrical wiring diagram, etc) and specifications.
• Ability to be innovative and capable of critical analysis and problem solving.
• Effective clients and interpersonal communication, and strong project management skills.
• Results oriented individual with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, CRM software, etc.
